GOLDfren brake disks tradition has been lasting several years. We produce discs for all motorcycle and scooter makes. All discs are manufactured from several types of steel. Materials determination depends on the customer's (competitor's) demands and his driving style (brakes application). For optimum discs performance, an appropriate composition of brake pads blend shall have to be correctly selected. We are manufacturing several kinds of blend now, and continuously develop more effective composition considering the disk material. In this issue, our company utilises rich and very important experience of worldwide competitors, who test all our novelties.

The most rampant group consists of off-road discs. These discs are manufactured in several designs (flowered, flowerlike, dentate, relieved dentate) and in several colour versions (black, silver, gold). Owing to the material quality improvement, the discs can be more relieved and comply this way with the requirements of prominent competitors. Such enhanced discs are offered also to current customers. Off-road floating discs became a great hit last year that are also involved in our offer. Floating discs consist of two parts: disc centre and crown (braking part). We succeeded in designing a very interesting and practical style of the disc centre. Crowns are also manufactured from a high-quality steel, consequently, these discs meet high quality demands. In addition to these discs of current dimensions, we produce oversize (enhanced) offroad discs of similar quality; to enable their application, it shall be necessary to purchase our adapter.

Another chapter are scooter discs considering ever increasing number of scooters on our roads. Our company can operatively manufacture a disc for all scooter makes offered on our market. Due to permanent enhancement, we reached a very nice and demanded design called flower. Surface finished, crystal silver galvanizing gives the scooter really eye-taking appearance.

Supermoto is another range of the motor sport that is less spread here. These discs are manufactured both like integrated (rigid), and floating discs. Rigid discs are made from a high-quality steel, their appearance is conformable to the offroad discs of greater dimensions: their diameter equals 320 mm. Application of these discs is conditional on the adapter (it ensures the brake valve movement to the appropriate brake position on the disc). The adapter manufacture is a very demanding operational process running on up-to-date CNC machines. They are manufactured from high-quality and lightest alloys achieving necessary hardness and strength. Centres of floating discs are also manufactured from similar materials; accordingly, although of greater dimensions, they are not so heavily loaded. These centres may be manufactured – besides current silver, gold and black colour – in any required colour tone according to the customer's demand to be consistent with the colour of his motorcycle.

On-road floating discs belong among the most demanding products. Their manufacture and design is similar to Supermoto, however, the exception consists in discs with sunken (disciform) centre. It is necessary to utilise CNC machines for these centres fabrication, ensuring high accuracy and quality. The material must be also characterised with high quality, lightness and strength. Centres colour design can be accomplished in all basic colours. Since these discs are applied in very powerful and fast machines, the crowns are also made from the high-quality steel. Through successive development we arrived at a conclusion that it is not necessary to integrate a cooling groove at the crown perimeter, because used material in itself is very resistant and effective in removal of heat.

All our discs ensure correct braking impact and safe operating both at wandering, and at demanding racing.
